Equipped

Ephesians 4:11–13 — So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

The Body of Christ has been given a monumental task in reaching the lost, making disciples, running a church and overseeing all the programs, finances and caring for the church members.

No one person is equipped to do all that is necessary for a church to function in a healthy manner.  That’s why God has called us to work together as the human body works together. In the human body, the hand is no less important than the foot or the eye or any other part. In the Church, each person is necessary and valuable to the function of the church.

At Restoration Church, we are intentional about identifying each person’s spiritual gifts and equipping them for the type of service that God has called them to fulfill.
